Representation of the signal as velocity
Since many forms of detection are based on the velocityof a vibration, it is advantageous to display the measurement signal as speed in m/s already on the smartphone. We are currently working on converting the acceleration values into speeds using numerical integration. Thus, frequency spectra with the associated speed amplitudes can then also be displayed and compared with limit values on the smartphone.
Preload forces of rope-like elements
The natural frequency of a rope-like element depends decisively on the cable force (preload force). We are currently developing a tool that derives the cable force from the measured frequency in order to determine rope forces quickly and easily.
Mode Shapes
In the field of mode shapes, a tool is currently being written that can display the eigenmodes of a component being examined from a number of smartphones connected to each other.
